St. Peter Lutheran School will have a brand new play surface for all students to enjoy this year!
Due to an anonymous donor and funding from the St. Peter Lutheran School Annual Fundraiser, our need for a new play surface is a reality. The construction company overseeing the project, A.M. Stephens of Lodi has done a fabulous job and the new surface is expected to be completed before the 4th of July. The initial project started in early June was delayed because as the former playground surface was removed, the ground under it was determined to be too moist. Moisture can effect the stability of the new surface; and so A.M. Stephens suggested waiting a few weeks for the surface to dry out and harden. The new surface includes a 4" bedrock base, new asphalt that will be sealed, and brand new painted lines.
