February 6, 2008: DAR ESSAY WINNERS ANNOUNCED
DAR Essay Congratulations to all of our grades 5-8 students for their participation in this year’s DAR (Daughters of American Revolution) essay contest. All of the students put in tremendous effort to produce the essay, which is done as an English assignment in the fall. Special recognition goes out to three students from each of the grades who were chosen to represent our school in the DAR district contest.
Those students are:
* 5th grade – Corie-Meshel Ethredge, Zach Schmidig, Caitlin Paulson
* 6th grade –Johnathan Bertaina, Hannah Stewart, Hannah Sutter
* 7th grade –Julie Kanemura, Faith Lewis, Alex Powaser
